Daniel MESTRE (CATALONIA, ES)
Daniel MESTRE is one of the leading young Catalan conductors, who works regularly with some of the most important choirs and orchestras of his country. He studied at the prestigious Escolania de Montserrat and the Conservatories of Barcelona and Vienna, and has worked as chorus master and conductor in Cape Town, Granada and Barcelona (Liceu Theatre and Conservatory, Palau de la Música, ESMUC). He has recorded for the Austrian, South African, Spanish and Catalan Broadcasting and for the label Columna Música.
