Come, lets have fun!

Come on, have fun?

Come. Fun.

Lets have...

Fun? On!

Composers have always liked to play and joke around, jest with and pull a grotesque grimace at the world or at nature itself.  Come and enjoy the wittiness of these compositions from different eras.  We have selected some of our favourite pieces from the rich Renaissance and the funny, resourceful 20-21. century, showing the variety of musical tools used by the composers to express allegresse, humour or sarcasm. Amuse yourself with learning, singing and performing these fabulous works.  The crown of the event will be the first performance of Georgi Sztojanov's new piece commissioned by the Europa Cantat festival.

REPERTOIRE – a list of pieces (not final yet!) from which the final repertoire of the atelier will be chosen

  4. Goffredo Petrassi: Nonsense No. 4. , 5.
