Rossana PALIAGA (IT)

Musicologist and journalist, she writes for newspapers and magazines. Since 1997 she collaborates with the Slovenian department of the Italian radio television RAI with weekly broadcasts about classical music. She graduated from the University of Trieste (History of music) and from Italian State Archive school. She studied piano and opera singing and she works for the development of choral music as member of Usci FVG and Feniarco. She works as PR in the Slovene Repertory Theatre in Trieste, as well as for international music festivals and cultural institutions.

Feniarco, the Italian federation for choirs, is also a music publisher very involved in promoting and spreading the contemporary composers’ works, paying particular attention to the repertoire dedicated to children’s and youth choirs. It is also interested in valuing traditional folk tunes with new arrangements and harmonisations. During the reading session, some composers will present their latest works.: Andrea Basevi, Manolo Da Rold, Enrico Miaroma
