András FARKAS (HU/CH)

"For me, the most beautiful instrument is the human voice" liked to say my father, the Hungarian composer Ferenc Farkas (1905-2000), pupil of Respighi and teacher of Ligeti and Kurtag. Impassioned by poetry and beautiful texts, sensible to tongues sounds and their pulsation, he composed many oratorios, cantatas, masses, songs and more than 200 choruses in 18 different languages.
