Tatjana Grujić (1963), Choreographer
Teaches acrobatics and contemporary dance at the Academy of Drama Arts in Novi Sad. She specialized in contemporary dance at prestigeous school - Alvin Ailey American Dance School, later worked as an assistant for modern dance at Adelphi University (Long Island) and Landrum School of Dance (Queens).
Her choreographies won many prizes in Serbia and USA. In Novi Sad, she started Creative dance programme and DaNS ensemble, also teaches contemporary dance, gymnastics and musicals.
Leading the following workshop in EUROPA CANTAT Pécs:
How to start work on a new musical? In what order: dancing, acting, singing? How to coordinate the lessons and rehearsals in order to accomplish a good performance and, at the same time, to keep the motivation at high level all the time? We will try to answer these questions based on our experience in work with children and youth, also with very talented and average kids together. Here is the suggested list of musicals for the workshop: Annie Jr, Hairspray, Matilda, All That Show.
