Tido Visser, son of an opera singer, started his career as a professional singer. He sang in many professional choirs, and was co founder of The Kassiopeia Quintet, whit whom he recorded all Gesualdo madrigals. His management skills made him consider and effectuate a career move. After five years in the CD business, he became general manager of the Combattimento Consort Amsterdam. Within short time he established a name as an innovative and creative manager, leading to an invitation in 2013 to become managing director of one of the best choirs worldwide, the Netherlands Chamber Choir.
