Sintho Solo was born in 1980 in Surakarta in Central Java, Indonesia. She received her MA in Ethnomusicology from Institut Seni Indonesia Surakarta (Indonesian University Of Arts). She performed mainly with keroncong musicians. Keroncong is a popular indonesian musical style which has also traditional and western roots. Sintho moved to Hungary in 2004 where she became familiar with Hungarian folksongs. She sang in the „Yava” musical group between 2008 and 2010. Recently she performes with Air Matahari Trio.
