Victoria Ely (AUS)
Victoria left her native Australia in 2012 to follow her passion for choral music. A versatile conductor now based in London, she enjoys discovering ways to share high-quality musical experiences with singers of all levels. She is director for Milton Keynes Chorale and the Cumbria Rural Choirs, and is also Assistant Conductor and Producer for the Voces Academy, an emerging professional chamber choir and conductor-development programme.

Bob Chilcott’s piece of the same title highlights 5 significant dates that have made an impact on our lives. Other pieces on historic themes will be Tormis’ Tabu, a protest piece against oppression, and Górecki’s Totus Tuus, celebrating the pilgrimage of Pope St John Paul II to his native Poland.
