This workshop will cover the repertoire of Orthodox Choral Music (17th to 20th c.) through the artistic heritage of Serbian, Bulgarian and Russian tradition. It is still not so widely recognized that this repertoire has been greatly enriched by contemporary composers. The aim of this workshop is to make this newer music more widely known and show that it is completely approachable by western choirs and easily absorbed into both liturgical and concert situations.
