Explore the roots of today's popular musicals!

In the eventful first half of the 20th century, Richard Rodgers, George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, and many more well-known composers established a new genre with the very centre in Manhattan, the early era of Broadway Musicals. We will sing some of the best songs out of musicals written between 1930 and 1972. If you like the special sound and the atmosphere of the old-school musicals like CarouselHello Dolly! or The Sound of Music, then you will have a great time in this atelier. Together with an orchestra we will bring the glamorous world of Broadway to the Europa Cantat Festival in Pécs!

"This Atelier is for the lovers of the great period of broadway musicals! Everyone who likes the sound of the 50's and 60's is invited to join the choir and have fun with some great arrangements! "
