Muzsikás: The ensemble Muzsikás was founded more than fourty years ago and has become well-known as the ambassadors of Hungarian music. For four decades, they have appeared in the most prestigious concert halls, festivals and on stages in Hungary and worldwide. It is a unique experience to listen to Muzsikás Ensemble with Bartók Béla Girls’ Choir on the same stage, alternately performing the colourful folk music of the Carpathian Basin and marvellous choral works.
Béla Bartók Girls’ Choir of Zoltán Kodály Secondary School in Pécs was founded in 1973 from the secondary school girls specialising in music. The choir has performed in several countries and participated at a number of international festivals, winning nine 1st, nine 2nd and four 3rd prizes.
