The Mladost folklore ensemble has been present on the scene since it was established in November 1972 in Samobor. Several hundred dancers-singers and musicians have since contributed to its series of successful performances in Croatia and abroad. In addition to many performances in Samobor, the ensemble has regularly performed at numerous local and regional festivals, including the most important folklore event in Croatia, “Vinkovačke jeseni”. The ensemble has given performances in Germany, Austria, Italy, Poland and has had a number of guest performances in Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Macedonia.
