Pécs has a vivid and colourful cultural life, which is now in excitement in view of the EUROPA CANTAT festival starting next summer. Local musicians are preparing for the festival by organizing concerts for the citizens in different parts of the city. Here is a quick overview of the upcoming events:
Eine kleine Pécser Musik, A Little Music from Pécs
A new musical initiative entitled "A little Music from Pécs" has started as a musical pre-event series for the EUROPA CANTAT Festival: every weekend from the beginning of September, on Friday-Saturday and Sunday at 16:00 musicians from the city will give 20 min. concert from the balcony of the City Hall!

XVIII. European Winesong Festival
Pécs and Villány will host for the 18th time the European Winesong festival between 26-28th September. This is a unique event for male choirs to learn and share the repertoire of wine songs coming from all around Europe.
